Use the suite as your aurora basecamp. Destination guides often highlight roughly mid-August to late September and mid-November to early April as strong viewing windows, though the lights always depend on the weather.
We provide the place to stay, not tours, and we can’t promise the lights from the windows. Book reputable operators through Spectacular NWT and check pickup policies, since some tours pick up only from listed hotels.
See the Yellowknife aurora traveler guide and our aurora-season stay page for multi-night planning. Booking several nights gives you more clear-sky chances.
Book a couple of nights or settle in for a week or more. The kitchenette, lounge and in-suite laundry make a longer stay in Yellowknife comfortable for aurora chasers, project visitors and small groups of up to 4.
